X-CHANGE is a software development tool for easy deployment of X-TRACK to different types of equipment with differing SECS/GEM functionalities.

X-CHANGE will open X-TRACK’s XML-based project file and display the data in a table form that is easier to edit and less prone to error. Another useful feature in X-CHANGE is the Import/Export function which allow large amount of tabulated equipment data ( stored in CSV or equivalent format ) to be transferred in/out of the software and therefore eliminating the need for data re-entry.

X-CHANGE can also be used to validate the equipment SECS/GEM configuration, which will subsequently be a basis for generating the necessary SECS/GEM documentation automatically.

  • Select built-in GEM functionalities to be implemented according to requirement

  • Specify protocol to be used: SECS-I or HSMS
  • Define alarms

  • Link variables, reports and events
  • Define terminals
  • Specify other GEM functions: ( e.g. Remote Commands, Process Program Management )
  • Specify GEM and non-GEM Stream Function message routing
  • Specify Equipment Controller Interface
